Swain Swamp Stomp and Obstacle Challenge
Saturday, September 8th
Even if you don’t come to participate, come as a spectator and cheer on those who do. It’s always a lot of fun either way, and you will enjoy it!
Do you like getting down and dirty? Do you enjoy hiking, running, and doing a course with challenging stations along the way? Do you like competing with friends, or family members in the great outdoors? If so, then the Swain Swamp Stomp and Obstacle Challenge is right up your alley. It’s a day of fun, dirt, and competition.
It all takes place at the Swain Resort, on the many trails of the mountainous hillside. It’s four miles long with twenty challenges along the way, including a number of water challenges. The main event is geared toward adults, but minors can also participate if running with an adult. They keep it fresh each year so it doesn’t get repetitive. There’s also a Li’l Stompers Challenge for those ages five to twelve years, in four categories.
Come as groups of friends or coworkers. Come dressed as a team of warriors, or as your favorite superhero, or just come as yourself in your favorite running gear. Even if you don’t come to participate, come as a spectator and cheer on those who do. It’s always a lot of fun either way, and you will enjoy it.
They are located at 2275 County Road 24 in Swain, NY. For more information visit their website https://swain.com/swain-swamp-stomp, or phone them at (607) 545-6511. Email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
